Education

In SADI we believe education is the best tool to fight poverty. Our free basic education is aimed at breaking the vicious cycle of illiteracy and increase access to education.

•  The organization provides free nursery and primary education for Shuwa Arabs, Orphans and vulnerable children.

•  Free computer classes to help the children get acquainted with the global world.

•  Free Tutorial classes for students who are beneficiaries of the NGO

•  SADI organizes intermittent excursion to places of interest for exposure, tourism and education.

•  Partners with other organizations for the global campaign against the spread of HIV/AIDS. SADI runs a periodic training/awareness session on HIV/AIDS, VCT, Reproductive health education etc

•  The organization runs career counseling sessions for youths in the group and for street kids.

Advocacy

The Girl- Child
The girl child phenomenon is a critical issue among the Shuwa Arabs. Girl- child marriages and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) are common cultural practices prevalent among the Shuwa Arabs and other major tribes in the northern part of Nigeria . SADI protects these Reproductive and sexual rights of the girl child through campaign , advocacy and education.

Empowerment
SADI provides empowerment for the women in the community through income generating activities like; micro finance, skill acquisition, financial aid etc, for self reliance, boost family income, minimize economic venerability, build peace in the home, and eradicate gender based violence
